T-Cask by Tapi: corks with added story telling value

After the Abor line, the Italian cork company is launching a new line of wooden corks, cut from the barrels used to age the spirits they will be sealing.

The line has been baptised T-Cask and is based on the same logic as the Abor line presented last year at the show: an approach focused on saving raw materials and recycling. Except that here, it is not the production residues from the distillation of spirits that are recovered but the very barrels in which the spirits have aged: ‘The first T-Cask corks cut from an oak barrel will be launched at the end of the year’, said Paolo Boratto, Marketing Manager at Tapi.
