Printing company Lightning Source to invest $22 million in its Jackson facility

Lightning Source, a Nashville-based printing company, announced Friday it will invest $22 million to expand its Jackson facility.

Lightning Source’s investment will add 150 new jobs and expand its existing distribution center located at 193 Edwards Drive. The expansion allows the facility to include its print-on-demand operations. The on-demand service offers publishers the ability to print books of any quantity and provides customers access to its worldwide bookselling channel.

Lightning Source is a subsidiary of Ingram Industries, which owns a wide variety of shipping and distribution type businesses in Tennessee.
