German recovered paper prices drop again in July

The price situation on the recovered paper market in Germany looks to be stabilising in August, following a palpable dip in waste paper arisings in July.

German recovered paper prices continued on the downward path in July. Continuing the pattern seen in June, mass grades were under the most pressure. Prices of mixed paper and board (1.02), supermarket paper and board (1.04), and used corrugated kraft II (4.03) had dropped again by a few tens of euro in July, depending on the previous month’s price.
